if 12s are anything like 10s, and it sounds like it, you will probably have to special order them.. what's wrong with our host? it's where I plan to order wheels + tyres soon...

my only other comment would be to respectfully advise against the first comment. In my experience Walmart staff (automotive and otherwise) have _very_ minimal training and experience (I had a roomate once that worked in the local Walmart automotive dept). When I special-order tyres for the Mini they are expensive and I try to find the best tyre man in town to do the work. I would do it myself but I left my [dad's] tyre machine and wheel balancer on the Charlottes

also, yeah- my Mini has tyres; my Jeep has tires

Turning into Cooper Tune here "Profile not filled out/location isn't known".

Are you in the USA ? Which coast ? Canada ? S. America ? C. America ? Asia ? Ur up ? (Europe)

Lots of variables. More information is needed for good answers.

Discount Tires offer free alignment with tire purchase. Would be able to look at suspension and advise as to what's needed.

Has anyone tried the Federal 145/70/R12 tires like those listed on Easytire.com?

I've found if you're on the East coast even with DHL freight at around $125 for 4 tires it's cheaper and quicker to get them from the UK than from the West coast suppliers. Also get the Yoko A539 not the Falken ZE912 I've had both the Yoko's are better in every way.

Fyi Currently hit my left front fender because i think my suspension is shot.

A worn/collapsed knuckle joint will do that. Often shows up on one side first.

You should sort out the suspension first before buying tires. If you go ahead and buy tires first for clearance issues get 145 70 12 tires, If our host does not have them Tires easy has budget ones along with others for sale at a bargain price of around $22.00 each plus shipping.

Check out Midland Wheels in the UK:

Even with shipping, they're still less expensive than you'd expect.

I don't think any car sold in North America came with sixty series 12" tires, so you pretty much need to buy your tires from a mini specialist. It isn't like this is a lot of money, or difficult.

Buy them on this site, then take them down to Walmart, who will install them for $5.  i found a place local that could order them but they wanted 30% more than our host!
