My ambition for 2015 is to drive the mini more often and hopefully 'go away' with it for at least a short trip.  I've done a bit of work on it over the winter and I really enjoy the car when I manage to take it out.

Oh, and another goal is to find a job...

Advice recieved, olde chaps I need to spend more time driving my Mini. I used to do the run from the Kootenays to QCI and back every year. More long road trips need to happen.

Looks like my girlfriend will be dragging me out of the house and to the UK this fall, so that should be great. I agreed under the condition that I get to fill her suitcases up with Mini parts for the return journey

Well, I just sent my entry in for MMW2015. This will be about a  6000 mile round trip I figure.

I have to agree with you, Rick.  I was pretty much forced to retire from a stint of 31 years with the same company almost two years ago.  Since then I can tell you that I have so much to do now, it's not even funny, but it is FUN.  I fully recommend retirement to everyone I know and some people that I have just met!  Maybe next year we'll be able to get some travelling around NA a bit.

I had just retired at 68 before I set out on a different continent to take a Classic Mini for a long drive...fabulous experience.  Met wonderful people in the Mini community there.

Wish I had started Mini wanderings elsewhere than North America sooner...don't wait too long.  The opportunities will disappear.
