Did you have to lift the headliner to put your plug in place?
Yes That's why I did it when I had the screen out. The center mount aerial was loose, I don't have a radio, and it interfered with the car cover so it was useless. It was a bit of a pain getting the headliner unstuck from the edges the headliner is a bit crispy. The plug somewhat matches the plugs on the cowl for the extra wiper holes.
Wow I completely missed the joke.................

So after watching a few videos and reading Doug Lawson's write up with the advice "Since the FAQ was written I have found a very good lubricant is/are the "personal lubricants" you can buy in the family planning section of your pharmacy."and the advice of using Pedros plastic tire levers, I easily installed my new windshield and plugged the hole where the center aerial was with a stainless plug I made from a 1/2" carriage bolt turned down and polished to fit the hole. You could even say the windshield slipped right in.....
