Looking for cash ($1,500). Have a few parts that I can add to the deal for free plus a few parts that can be purchased on the cheap.

Obscene amount of parts that can be added to the $deal$, including tanks (both sides), carbs (you name it), extra body panels, trim, windows, flares, etc, etc.
$1,500 picked up in Los Angeles. Car is in the HHills, so will need a tow truck or trailer with a winch and a skilled driver.
Would also consider trade for skilled labor. Need a wiring harness (from scratch and BASIC) for my '61, as well as help getting the 1275cc together and running.

I agree, $1,500 max for a shell. If you can still buy running complete 63 Austin real Cooper for $6,000 grand in Los Angeles with no rust or a vtec 16BC 1973 clubman solid, no rust with front and rear disc brakes for $4500 in Los Angeles or a 1974 1275GT solid yellow clubman out in Riverside for $2,500, then your shell is at the top of the Market for $1,500.
If those cars are still out there, I'd buy em all. So are they?
Sorry for the slow response Ssuperflyoldguy. I bought the Austin cooper and Vtec and Kenny bought the yellow GT Clubman. One at the British car show in Van Nuys, the Vtech on Craigslist and Kenny got the GT from a Ebay sale that nobody bid on. I have a craigslist app to let me know when and mini related stuff get listed. There was a mini roller minus engine on Craigslist up by Napa for $1500 a few days ago that sold.
No worries, just got a smoking vtec deal, well I thought it was - there's always another deal around the corner. ALWAYS. What I need to do is start thinning the herd more so NO MORE! (Yelling at myself) a Mini sells for whatever it sells for. People just spend what they want to spend. A Mini with some rust has more yet to be discovered, that's why shells don't always command what peeps think it is worth. You sell one to a happy guy, that buyer may be a friend for life. We need more happy folk, like vtecJersey, seems. Make someone a deal at the price that you're ok with. There's lots of folks here that give stuff away cuz theyre nice folk and supports people who pay it forward, some even drive to you to help.

I bought a 2001 ranger for 600..was listed for 900.I sold it within a few days for 2700 And that was nicer then most up hence why it sold fast.Does that mean its worth 600? Or 2700? Just because you may have found some deals doesnt mean his is worth nothing.Im not sure the value or condition but just saying.
I bought mine cheap.I was offered over double for it without doing anything to it.Its all in what someone will pay or what they have planned.
