Funny i bet a lot of the people mentioned and many others (zippy, Alex and sxs) to mention a few don't remember it that way Robster/Boison. You are very dillusional and that is probably just the tip of the iceberg with your issues.

..and what about you jeg, you are fond of posting that picture of me riding my scooter with my naked body showing my nipples, is that a good behavior coming from a "reputable" "honorable" person? i dare ya'll to review all my post from the beginning, i was giving advices without attacking anybody. and you guys jump on me like you know everything about mini, malsal, jeg, mightymouse, mur these people are my constant detractors, perhaps insecure but i won't let them get in my way in helping newbies... for the record, this guy "informer" is mightmouse himself. he's good at making new accounts to attack somebody.

ps: i honestly and vividly remember , that same speedometer was used by my uncle on his tractor.no lie !

now back to the "unknown" speedometer topic., on jeg's behalf,i'd like to apologize to the original poster for hijacking this thread. jeg is just too much carried away with the situation.

At least Boison's stupic post reminded me of good times ...

I once asked my great-uncle Billy why his 20 year old Chevy in the barn had less than 2,000 miles on it. He replied "I just take the tractor to town. Well, it's got a highway drive gear and will do 12-13 miles per hour, that's fast enough. I used the Chevy to drive your Aunt Annibelle to church on Sunday and she got mad at them 15 years ago".

Oh yeah !!!!! He is back and posting stupid stuff plus advice which we all know is dangerous coming from him.

Pretty sure it is, he was trying to bait someone on another thread about the stolen mini, let's continue to ignore him.

Good to know about the MGB stuff, i have a big box of B guages, I may try this.

Tractors don't usually have 100mph speedos with trip meters and gear change points.

Nick is traveling but did say that he answered questions about this speedometer on Mark Forster's mk1 Forum. I haven't been able to find the thread, yet.

I agree with Doug about it being home made.

Consider this only an educated guess.  It looks homemade.  The light colored center disk is either from an early Mini or a Minor.  The window for the odometer has been hand cut while that of the trip meter looks "factory".  Likewise, the hole in the back for the trip reset appears to have been hand cut.

Could it be a Cooper 100 mph speedo with a trip meter added?
