It definitely was a Delta promo car. It was used for a few years as well. Even had all the livery on it. There were at least 2 of them and 2 different liveries. Not that it makes it worth any more that it was an official car, in my opinion.

This looks like a case of slightly exaggerated advertising.  I have recently retired from Delta, and while the corporate big wigs were known to spend money on some rather extravagant items, I rather doubt this was one.  Something like this would have been used for promos, and it wasn't.  Of course if someone wants to pay that price for this odd ball concoction and brag to his buddies at the bar about his 'Corporate Car'.........

I would be concerned that W.A.D.S. would scramble an 18 as you approached the main gate!!!

I'd buy the airplane car and paint it like an F-16. It would be hilarious to drive that onto base every day. And it would be a real winner at the air shows.

A more "traditional" application perhaps??? Yes it's for real. On tour in the UK no less.                         Mini Estate

This car is nuts. LOL.

From the article:
The airplane wings are odd as hell, but what’s crazier is that this was a corporate car for Delta Airlines.
