Correct if I'm wrong, but I thought that was your car... ????

CupCake, yeah I was wondering about not only the noise but the backfires!

SXSMAN that dash is absolutely gorgeous, it's the one major cosmetic item I would do even if if non-original for my car.

Funny, I saw that Todd on the Mk1 page, but didn't click on the photo to view it closely. I thought it was a GPS speedo, thanks for pointing out what it really is, way cool !

I plan on leaving the weber box, never thought of spotlighting its installation.

Might have to think more about the dash, I wonder though how much more noise it generates though.

Thought about this style of dash, could incorporate a center binnacle like the photo, maybe a passenger side glove box (oval) to balance it out. Damn, just something else to think about ! Second thought, it would look too busy. Might look cool with the center viewing binnacle, but flush mount the gauges straight ahead.
