Shipping from the U.S. has typically been 1½ weeks for small items, which is by my math still better than 4...

Won't shipping from the US kill the time as well?
Send me an email.

The wait is killing me, so perhaps someone's got a (good) one sitting in a box that they'll not likely use...
I've got a distributor being rebuilt/re-curved in the UK right now, and it's going to be another 4 or so weeks until it's done.
So, while I'm waiting, I'm entertaining the option of a lightly used or NOS off-the-shelf solution; something I install and compare to the the 2 unit's I'd had rebuilt (and are giving just a tad too much mechanical advance) by H&H in the UK. Yes, I know I could weld a bit (0.015" / degree) to the heal, but I'd rather not...
So, since I know that the Aldon Yellow (100AY (A-series, w/out vac. advance)) can and has been used on engines similar to mine (//www.1978mgmidget.com/Special_Tuning_for_948_1098.pdf ).
Of course, if anyone has an actual C-27H7766 (100AYV), even better.
My reason for asking about a non-vacuum advance model? Simple - the 43D casting is no longer available, so Aldon uses the 45D casting which has the cut-out; they simply blank it off with a tabbed plate to locate the dizzy cap, so I can fit a vacuum advance and baseplate if needed.
I'm looking for a bargain - at the end of July, my custom unit will be finished and if need be, I've got a new Aldon waiting in my 'shopping basket' on Aldon's website. But I'd prefer something 'dirty'; I can't really afford more new distributors right now, and we've got the Historic Grand Prix coming up soon.
Any help or (responsible) suggestions welcome.
