Take off the door on the opposite side you want to  replace the floor.  get a strong and sturdy or stool  about 17  inches high. put a floor jack at the tunnel and toe board and lift. You will need another guy to help you tilt the mini up on the two wheels and while the mini is up in the air . one of you will need to place the chair in position of the door opening to match the roof. Both of you will lower the mini gently on the chair. Make sure you drain the oil  and gas tank. Now you can stand to cut, wire wheel fit the panels and weld and grind without  being on your back. repeat for the other side. It's very easy and safe.

If you still have questions, you may contact 94Touring on here or his website (restorationmini.com). He did my floors and they are perfect.

Hello all need opinion from all who have done thier floors.Got the front section out up to the seat mount. no problems except its more crunchy than expected (my car hope full has less rust than normal) NOT!! anyway the sill isnt to bad. The rear wheel well isnt to bad either. Question part. Is the floor welded to the wheel well? Without removing the sill how do u get the old metal out, most of all how do u weld it back in?? Thanks for your replys. Scott

P.S. got long replacements from M.M. so its 4 pieces.
