As incredible as it might sound, Zippy was sat next to me in my office in Darkest Zummerzet last year when I animated that gif.
Much cider and much giggling...

I could send you the file so you can see if you could upload the rolling one to your avatar.

Bingo! You don't like him or his posts, ignore him and stop responding to them. Don't you know what happens when you feed the gremlins?

OK, more insider info....  We, Mini Mania, predate the technology that you are all so used to. We had a website and a forum when google's founders were smoking bongs thinking about what college to attend!!!

Why do you care?  With all the devices available to the average household (and even BELOW average households!!), it is not possible for us to "really" know who you are!  We can't get into a banning game with someone hell-bent on being a disruption.  Therefore boys and girls, the most logical approach is to live and let live, and recall the words of the unfortunate focal point of a mob scene gone wrong (you know.... what our society does when a pro team wins a championship, or a verdict of a big public trial goes against popular consensus), who famously said "can't we all get along".

Or fall back to the point I keep making.... It takes a lot of work to be an idiot. Payment for those folks is getting people riled up.  Ignore them, and you've stopped payment!  They move on to annoy others, or fade back into irrelevance.

I have taken great pains to avoid making any comments about Tony/Robster/Boison/etc. even though his highly questionable posts have been creating a great deal of furor on legitimate threads where his posts are nothing but deliberate disruptions.

To read Jemal's post about "live with it" is very disappointing in Mini Mania. To put it in blunt terms: they must enjoy having someone S*** in their back yard.

Too many threads have been totally disrupted by this troll such that it is no longer possible to "don't look" at his posts and still keep in touch with the community. Sadly, I will be another long term veteran of this forum (nearly 20 years) that is basically gone due to the troll and subsequent reactions.

To Jemal: I hope you don't actually like seeing all the veteran knowledge depart over this person who has admitted to enjoying being a troll on this and other forums.

Giving away a little insider info,  I happen to know for a fact that several of "his" identities were created by others to put even more absurd posts and comments up, further irritating those that are. umm, easily irritated!  These were done by probably well meaning board members simply trying to enhance the comedy value of absurdities in life.   Of which there are many!  I've spoken and emailed with Robster /Boison/ect, and you simply must take what you want and leave the rest on the table!!  Something I've noticed about the internet, some people lie and say mean things about others!  Yes it's true, I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you!!

The part I REALLY find worthy of psychology,  is that the biggest complainers are the ones reading and commenting on his posts HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of times!!!!!!  I've said over and over again... DON'T LOOK !!!!!   If you simply MUST,  I'm afraid I can't help you!  Some folks are gluttons for punishment!   If you like punishment, and keep doing it to yourself, you can't very well garner much sympathy by complaining about it!

By his own admission he has been banned here four times under four different screen names (or is that another lie from him), where is the logic with MM's staff time taking care of his BS and letting him post again under a different name not to mention the rest of the crap that comes with it.

He came in as a new owner, seeking advice. He was given advice. He didn't just ignore advice, but challenged even common Mini knowledge. He claimed to not have good skills in English, began to abuse those who were trying to be helpful (and apparently his Mini too). He posted lies and untruths, including claiming to have a "double major in psychology", and because of his antisocial behaviour got warned and eventally banned by Jemal (who has better things to do). After that, Tony (aka Boison and a host of other forum identities) has continued to post under several other logins and tries to 'contribute' by giving to new members unfounded "advice" and discounting the advice offered by other long-time members of this board who have both knowledge and experience. Some of his posts have bordered on being slanderous and defamatory.

(You did ask. That's the condensed version.)

He seems to like being a boil on our collective backside. He saus he's 'the "most-judged" member of this forum'. Maybe so, but I doubt anyone has misjudged him.

210??

I have never seen mine even remotely close to that ...that's hot...Honda motors run very cool.I drove around on a 90 degree day all over and it wouldn't even touch 190 ...185 fan comes on and it cools right down to 175ish...I have a powerful little 8 inch fan...smaller then the one MiniTec supplies but It moves some air.

Honestly at night time the fan barely comes on ever...Honda engines always seem to run cool.If look into your issue a little further..I'd day you could drop 10-20 degrees easily .Idc if it's a B,D,etc.

I wrapped the header, aluminum China radiator, that Fan ..runs cool as can be.Could also be a tuning issue with the heat...

My MiniTec car runs at 210* without a/c. Wonder how hot it would run with an a/c condenser in front of the radiator. I have everything to hook up the a/c but I'm worried it would run too hot.

When I joined, it was a pretty decent place to chat, have fun, share laughs, and get technical advice. I learned plenty and made quite a few friends as well. There have been a few people that have come and gone and were small disruptions, but nothing to this scale, and quite honestly it's been like a bull in a china shop ever since. Except this bull knows exactly what he's doing and the china shop owners are giving him food and water... and a nice comfy bed to sleep in.

I've been really distant from the board. In fact, it's made me NOT want to post on this forum any of the things I'm doing with my car. It's just not worth the hassle. I get on here every once in a while to check in, but I just don't post anymore. I used to post every day.

Jersey, I get what you're saying, but I think you're painting with a rather broad brush as well. And not to "stir the pot" any more than it has been, but I've found in life that those who complain about others complaining are just as, if not more, annoying than the accused.

Pity that you feel that way.

I've been here a few years, and until Tony and his psychotic alter egos showed up and started bullsh*tting around, this was a nice place to visit with old friends and welcome new people to the community.

It's been suggested that he find another 'home' where he might be more comfortable amongst people similar to himself; like this one:

It's clear that our community isn't the right one for Tony; we're content to discuss alternators and carb needles, not to mention brocade fabric denier.  We've historically discussed these at length, as well as our families and other interests.

However, always the giver, I've already done the legwork for Tony.  Yes, I know, pathfinding again, but he's really not that bright, so I feel obligated to help him...

Tony, (aka. velocity/Sue/azBob/Robster/Coolsterr/Boison et al.) we think you would be more comfortable here, seems to be more your style:
