Have you tried a slightly heavier oil in the suction chamber?

I see. Thank you guys for the replies.  I'll have to think of other ways to mount the intake pipe.  

I wanted to do something like these examples.

I bought an ex hill climb car and it had those two holes plugged (with sealant) and it ran but was slow to come down from the revs which is probably the way the PO wanted it.

if you plug those the piston won't go up/down (carb won't work)
