Mike, 145/70-12 is a common Mini size. I have not seen tires with your size rating 145 SR 12 maybe they are a trailer tire size (just guessing) which is usually around a 75 or 80 series tire.

145/70-12  4.0" sidewall  10.0" radius  20.0" diameter  62.8" circumference

145/80-12  4.6" sidewall  10.6" radius  21.1" diameter  66.4" circumference

Hope this helps.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Looks like a size that's just a tad smaller than the '80' sidewall profile - good for someone w/an Austin America but likely too big for a mini.

As I mentioned before...They do not say 80 series anywhere on the tires. The size clearly is printed 145 SR 12. They are 372 All Season Steel Belted Radials.

So unless there is some site that can determine if they are 80 series or 70 series...

Jeg, I believe they are 80 series, but all that is printed on the side walls are 145 SR 12.

I have a set of 4 ALMOST NEW Yokohamas 145 SR 12s for sale. CHEAP. $90 firm for all 4 plus shipping. They are dated 04/14.

They have fewer than 500 documented miles on them. They are like new. They came on my Austin America which is a larger, wider, heavier car than a mini. I would imagine they would be really nice for a standard mini with 12s. The previous owner put them on the Austin. The proper size is wider, so I replaced them with the wider size. They are like new. If you live in New Jersey or Philadelphia or NYC area, it would probably be worth the drive to come pick them up.

Email me through my profile or call (609)618-7559

Cheers!
