Is that 6" a typo? You have 5" cosmics correct??
For the MOKE I'd go with the 145 tyres. 145's work well on a 5" rim....not at all I doubt on a 6"
I had 5" cosmics on a saloon with 145s. Handled great and no need for flares

I think the 145 on the 5.5" cosmic will look fat and bulbous. You'd do better with the 165s. Go to a narrrower rim for the 145 and the stock look.

So I finally got a set 10" Cosmic Mk.2 wheels to a shop to have them redone, and I got them back. Next step is to buy tires.
They came out 7.5/10 just because there was some pitting in the rims they could not get rid off, but I'm overall happy witrh them.
The Cosmics are 5Jx10 and they are going in the Moke, which I know they will stick out a bit.
Now for tires I can go with the 145/80R10 or the 165/70R10 tires.
I know the 165 will fill the rims better, however they will stick out even more, so I'm think I will go with the 145s, but I'm afraid that wheel tire combination will look weird/ugly. It's a Moke with an 850, I'm not really concerned about the handling.
Can anyone post pictures of the 145s mouted on 6" deep wheels?
Regards,
Miguel
On a stock UK Moke i think an aggressive tread 145 tire looks good.
