FREE to anyone who wants it - you just have to pay the postage and try to offer up something else for free.

I have two sets of twin outlet chrome windscreen washer jets after I bought too many by accident.

One set per applicant, FREE to anyone who wants them - you just have to pay the postage and try to offer up something else for free.

To start it off.

I acquired these grille buttons to use on Betty when she had a Mk2-on grille.  Now she's got a Mk1 grille I no longer want to use them

FREE to anyone who wants them - you just have to pay the postage and try to offer up something else for free.

I'm sure many of us have got the odd thing lying about that we'll never use, but which could be of use to someone else.
Often, as demonstrated during Brad's enterprise a while back, whole swathes of free stuff is hoovered up en-masse by an individual, never to be seen again or later upcycled for profit (kudos for stopping that from happening).
What I'm proposing is simple - if someone wants a free thing, they ask for it, pay the postage and receive the treasure.
People asking for free parts ought to try and offer another free thing to the board in return.  It's a bit like the old Grab-bag that did the rounds for ages before disappearing into a garage somewhere.
PLEASE don't start making specific requests - think of this as a garage clearing giveaway instead of a swapshop.  There is another thread for that.

So, the Rules:
1)  If you want a part, you ought to try and offer a free part tot he board.  Please post a picture of the FREE part, even if it means revisiting and editing one in later.
2)  Parts must be FREE, only postage is to be paid.
3)  Value of parts is nominally irrelevant, but please try not to offer up a piece of broken crap in exchange for shiny treasure.
4)  Once your part has gone, edit your post so people know it's no longer available.
5)  You can offer stuff up without having to take anything.
6)  Please don't start making specific requests e.g. I want an electronic dizzy in exchange for my wheels.  This is specific swapping not giving away free things.
7)  It would be considered extremely poor form to sell a free part taken.  If you decide you don't want/like it, offer it up again for free.
8)  Don't stiff people on the postage.
