I find almost on craigslist.org  and NEVER ebay.com   and always send driver with CASH to pick up in person and make sure the have some sort of US title or reg card from non state  . to make sure they match.. btw I had heard there had been lots of folks KILLED in atlanta off buying and selling cars from craigslist.org in past year..

you need to bring tons of food when you go to Yosemite Nat'l Park, that place is so remote, and bring face mask, a lot of dead skunk on the road.

ahhh, i don't wanna go back there....

TM. Anything that results in a car purchase really. Wouldn't mind meeting some of the old timers who know me in either case, car lead or not

I have purchased four cars in the past two days long distance. Not really good for sleeping well I can tell you that

Alex. I brought in a 38 Chevy which went to Ireland and a 46 Ford is sitting in Braintree. On eBay now

Pete, if you can find a couple of decent 50s small pickups or a pickup and a small panel van then I suspect you will not have difficulty in shifting them.

I'll even drive over to collect...

Are you mostly interested in touching base  directly with individuals? or are you interested in other vendors?

Whne my son and I were looking for his El Camino we travelled from the local bay area to Sacramento to check cars out.

Guys. Getting closer now

I will mention to the folks in this area:

If you come up with a lead that leads to purchase (not ebay as ai am. All over that) there is definitely a drink in it for you. Again I will be starting and finishing in San fran. Then going to Yosemiti then Carmel. Not getting as far as La and have another 7 days to plan

Cheers. Petee
