So on the new Minis, is there any particular year to steer clear off? I'll be looking at the first gens, so when did they switch to turbo and should I try to get intot he first turbos or stay with an older supercharger?

Thanks.

Sir Quickie, if i were you , i will get a classic mini with an A/C, automatic transmission, fuel injected , pwer windows etc, i tell you , the body of a classic mini from 1959 thru 2000 is exactly the same. the later ones like the 1995 up are also same in body dimensions.  lets face it, its a lot more convinient to drive an automatic transmission car than a stick shift.. dunno why people like manual trans,  in manual transmision, you are a slave of your car, while in automatic transmission , the car is your slave. you can not even pop open a coke in can while driving a manual trans. , i can do everything in auto trans, texting, dialing etc name it.

07 most likely will be a financial stretch for me so I'll look at 05 then.

Thanks.

Emanuel, does this mean you completed your Triumph?  How did it turn out?

Thanks.
