my 2.0L vtec mini i switched back to 10 x 7" rims after running 13's for a while. i used A008's on the 10" rims and i really liked how it performed, i ran a fair number of autox tracks with the 10's and i really liked that the car drove and handled more like a mini should than with the bigger rims..

I heard years ago that 13" Chevy Vega rims will fit on a Mini. Not sure there are too many of those around anymore. I think most VTEC folks go with 13x7 wheels with 175-50/13 tires, although I have 13x6 Superlites that I think work pretty well. I have Yokohama A539 tires, with a set of Nankangs waiting to go on. I guess Dunlop is making them now too, so a couple of choices other than A048 are available.

I like my original 10x5 alloys and AO32 tyres , but the B16a VTEC is a little much. Are there wheels from any non- Mini that will work? Anyone tried 14's? Or do I just bite the bullet and go with new 13x6 with AO 48's?
