i can still remember vividly when that mini with hayabusa engine(in the back)the owner parked his car in the grass for the show, i can hear it's engine ROARING 1/2mile from the seaport village restaurant where i was having my breakfast...and everybody were like, what is thaaaat !!!..that thing definitely needs 4 muffler side by side.
you know who you are...you had that mini since you were 10..oops

I'm going for the category of "best resurrection" of a Mini that shouldn't have been! I'm pretty excited to get my car on the grass amongst her friends and enjoy the day down on the waterfront.
I feel like next to Spank's Viking Troupe I might have to step up my game.

I really wish I could attend. I will be in San Diego the week prior but I will be leaving shortly before it kicks off. Darn! If anyone can post some pictures from the event that would be fantastic!
I'll post a lot of photos and maybe make a minute video event recap reel for everyone to see. Should be fun!

I'm finally growing some balls to enter my mini's first car show at SD British car day. I was gonna do it last year with the oz clubman but I chickened out. Id love to meet more mini owners and hope they'd like my "wanna be" Works mini.
So it's gonna be my first and I'm very nervous lol
There is no need to be nervous, it's San Diego, everyone is mellow. You get to park your car on the grass and check out everyone else's British cars. Nobody is going to give you a hard time if your car is not 'correct'.
Last year everyone who entered got a card they could vote for their favorite car in each class.
Maybe I will see you there. Robb
I just invited all my photographer friends and I hope the venue will look great. Two of them works for some great advertising print agencies in Los Angeles. So I hope everyone is excited and ready to tell their story to be featured in a print publication
