You really should start a thread at restorationmini.com. We'd all be interested in that.

That will take some explaining to my wife....

i like using the rattle primer because the primer is premixed and very well proportioned with the catalyst and its ready to use, i just mixed the can for 30 minutes (while watching TV) to ensure that the content is well mixed to attain the maximum bond to the surface being painted.
once i bought primer at a paint shop, it comes with catalyst and thinner thingy, i did the mixing myself, i dunno what happend but i think i put more (or) less catalyst in it, so when it dried up, they all cracked and chipped off shet!! grrrr! see pics!

Jeg's rattle can paint job is a good one. No doubt about that. And it can be done well.
This is the level of detail on my paint job.

That's my car, and it's not a rattle can spraypaint job. In fact, my paint job alone likely cost more than your entire car, Boison. Heck... just the cost of the paint alone was probably more than what you purchased your car for. If you would like to follow my build thread, you can do so at RestorationMini.com
The can you have circled was used to paint my subframes and it's epoxy paint. A good cleaning and a few coats of it will do quite a bit for the longevity of your parts.
