i made the mistake of using aaa one time as well al,  i bought an mgb-gt v8 conversion project in portland oregon,  the driver also abandoned the trailer with cars on it at a truck stop in south dakota.   i had to pay a local guy who retrived it an extra 300 to give me my car and i had to drive 60 miles to his yard to get it.  i think they are out of business now?

Years ago, l sent a mint mini pick up from here to California on a hauler AAA car movers from Tempe AZ, somewhere in Nebraska the driver got pissed off over something and abandoned the rig and all of the cars on the trailer, it was left at a truck plaza and sat there for a few days until AAA flew a re placement driver up to Nebraska to take over- The powere of this forum took over and 2 different members here contacted me to tell me the horror story The Company denied all of this vehemently and even refused to pay for a damaged bonnet that looked like someone sat on it (l had two dozens pics when it left here)

And then to add insult to injury, the new driver refused to deliver the pick up to the buyers home, making her ( a widow) come downtown at midnight to get the mini and would NOT drop the mini off the hauler until she signed off- I had the bonnet repaired at my cost and then bad mouthed AAA Haulers and their web site Car Movers.com site as best l could- AAA obviously stood for triple A$$holes You can never be too sure when you hire a hauler no matter how well they are recommended

That's why l used to like to deliver my own sales where possible

Not mine, but if you had waved them off at the next exit they could have delivered to my house
