Just a few weeks until one of the most fun runs we do all year! Don't forget to let us know if you plan on attending on the MOASF forum.

Looks like we have about 10 cars so far. If we could get five more we could fill the whole observatory parking lot.

Rich,

You could always meet up and passenger (or possibly Like DR Dave -drive) in one of our little beasts. There are always a handful of folks who head back down the hill to San Jose so getting back to your vehicle shouldn't be an issue. Who knows it might motivate you to get one of your projects complete??

Hope to see you out there soon!

MT. Hamilton Run -November 8, 2015

It's that time again! This is one of the most fun runs we will do and should not be missed!!

We will meet at the Starbucks at  8:30 am at the corner of Capitol Avenue and McKee in San Jose (just off highway 680) which is very close to the foot of Mt Hamilton.
Our estimated time of departure is 9 am. We will head up Mckee to Alum Rock to Highway 130 over Mt Hamilton.

"For those who haven't witnessed the 360+ corners up the hill, it's pretty awesome, and the view from the observatory at the top is spectacular."

We will do a pit stop at the observatory for around 30 minutes to enjoy the view and take some pics. Unfortunately, the observatory has been closed the last few years, so this is really a place to stretch out and use the bathroom.

We then continue down the backside of Mt Hamilton towards Livermore and stop for lunch and a club meeting at the Junction.

** Please let me know if you plan on eating with us, so I can call ahead and let them know if we are a large group.**

After lunch we continue through the canyon on Mines Road into Livermore.
