I haven't driven mine in the rain, I'm not sure of the function, I bought it because it looks cool. Smile

I've got those wipers on my mini. Bought them a few years back Mni Delta in Osaka,Japan. https://www.mini-delta.com/

It's a simple linkage that connects the two arms and snaps right into factory locations.

Those wipers come pre-equipped with string so that when the Lucas electric motor stops working in the middle of the ally you just quickly tie string to both sides and pull the cord from each side to get them to work. GM once considered this modification for their vacuum-powered wipers on early 60's cars....

I think it identifies the Port it is being shipped to...in this case BUSAN is a port city in South Korea and it is struck through with VANCOUVER hand written in.

What the MADE IN JAPAN means I have no idea.

The VIN is at the bottom in largeish type to allow easier checking against documents.

I'm looking at the white one...sign on the windshield with a big red arrow pointing to the RHS...does it say..."steering wheel over there?"

Helping a friend who was importing a Mini from Japan for the 1st time.  He arrived from east of the Rockies just before 11 am.  Car was confirmed to be processed by broker and dockside before NOON.  We went to car wash and cleaned up Van & trailer.  Headed for dock.  Scooped the Mini (with the red leather seats).  Returned to Pitt Meadows.  Stopped at wine store.  Mini was headed east at 3:30 pm for the Okanagan Valley.  Will be home in Alberta on Sunday.

Another party passed us as we headed for security with the Mini, the White over Green Mini with 4 spots was getting scooped too.

I got droopped at home!

Those wipers have my attention. Very interesting....

It's been fun, but this place is done. I have no hatred, and appreciate the good times. But this place now belongs to Tony and his pink mini.

The wipers on the whitish one are old rally type thingies arent they?  Notice the white one also has door mirrors, and the orig. ( or dealer installed ) wing mirror holes are plugged.

Is this a thing you do Rick..lol...or is one your new ride?

The green/white one looks like an almond green/oew 35th anniversary Cooper. The wipers on the grey one are different.

What to do on a sunny November afternoon...go get a Mini from Japan off the docks.

No, not the green one, the white one with red leather interior.
