Installed Super Minifin brake drums on the back. Also found the cause of an annoying rattle going over bumps, the lower shock mount on the back was a little loose.

Sorry Ric. I did use the 3.1 and I'm keeping my old 3.44 gearbox for future use.

Just finished the rebuild of the HS2 twin carb for my 66 Austin Copper S.
Unfortunately it will be several months till I am ready to install the engine and adjusting the carbs.
I may look into having the engine tested prior to installing.

Hey Craig!
Since you didin't use the 3.1 gears can you make me a deal on them? It'll be my fifth gear!
To answer the Question I spent the day that I never get back removing and replacing the radiator because the shroud was rubbing on the harmonic damper. What a pain!

Sorted the oil leaks! Turns out that two of the 3/8 inch bolts holding the differential cover on the gearbox were not torqued when the box was built. I pulled it apart and put it back together with proper gaskets. No leaks. I probably should have swapped out my 3.44 diff for the 3.1 in the box, but I'm lazy. Fifth gear on the Interstate sure does make a difference in the cabin sound. I can almost think now!

Had heli-coils installed for cylinder head manifold studs, head back on, beehive valve springs installed, valves adjusted, thermostat change, AFR adjusted for BDK needle. Now if this COVID crap would go away....We all are supposed to be in Victoria, BC enjoying fine Canadian hospitality at MMW.

FINALLY!
Removed the battery tender and car cover. Rolled it clear of the wall to add air to the tires. Opened front and back garage doors and started the engine!. So nice to hear that A+ again!
Drove it into the back yard to blow out the winter oil from the cylinders, did a loop of the back yard, through the garage to the front and on out to the street where I did a 180 and then back through to the back yard for more blow-out. Turned around to see my wife has pulled in the driveway, wagging her "naughty boy" finger.... BUSTED!
Tomorrow the3 insurance goes back on!

Mostly cosmetic stuff;
Upgraded the stereo with a custom Mini Cooper branded sub-woofer in the boot and upholstered the boot lid in matching vinyl.
Also re-upholstered the doors to match and added door pockets.
Swapped out older steering column shroud to newer one with 2 stalk switches & ignition switch.
Custom dash installed from Dash of Colour in UK with matching green Speedhut speedo & tach (with flames!).
First mod was the dingle balls in the windshield!

Installed the new MiniSpares 5-speed gearbox that leaks oil like a sieve. Not happy about that as more work will be needed to sort it out. Returned the radiator mount to the original location on the end of the lump and it cools like a champ again. Happy about that! So, 50-50 results aren't as bad as it could have been. I'm pretty sure I will have to pull the lump again to sort the leaks though. Not happy about that...

Just finished rebuilding my AUF214 fuel pump. I purchased a rebuild kit from Burlen/SU, new banjo and connectors. I followed the instructions and all went well. I was surprised how loud the clicking is!
