I bought a reproduction Innocenti Boot lid from them a few months back for my restoration.  My body shop was very skepitical that it would fit without a few hours of labor on his part.  But, when it arrived he did a test fit and he was very impressed.  Mounted up the hinges and the thing fit without much fussing at all.

I called ABS before ordering and they answered all my questions (also quick to answer emails).  My out the door price (shipped to NJ) was about $300.  Shipping cost as much as the part.  If you subscribe to their facebook page (or call them) they might be able to pair you up with another US order that is going to be shipped near you and you can save costs.  And while I am in for supporting the host of this forum, sometimes the prices are just a bit out of reach.  Theh obviously source the part from ABS Motorsports and it is special ordered.  Sometimes it makes sense to cut out the middle man and assume some of the risk as the consumer.

One final note.  Their web host deleted a TON of websites 2 weeks back.  THings are coming back online.  Via their facebook page

The new website is up and running and new products are being added every day (its going to take a while, we make A LOT of products)

What we really would like is some test orders to allow us to find any issues on the site.

Therefore, if you looking for a product, and wish to buy this week, we have set up a discount code to give you 20% discount.

Please use code - newweb to receive the discount.

This is valid all week, on any of our own fibreglass products.

If the product you require is not on the website yet, please message us and we will add it as soon as we can.

Thank you.

Fibreglass is indeed stiffer than injection moulded arches, but with a flip front that may well work against you - every time you flip and things flex, the fibreglass runs the risk of cracking the gelcoat...

jemal i searched through what you guys offered...

i just really like the way theirs are made and have inserts and are bolted on instead of the threaded studs.I also want figerglass as i was told its stiffer and easier to work with since i have a flip front etc.

I telephoned ABS Motorsport in the UK (absmotorsport) before I made my purchase, and was completely satisfied with the service.  Highly recommended, though their website seems to have problems at the moment.

When the arches arrived, the quality was better than expected, and since I'm currently driving around with Group 5 Works arches in the front and Group 2 Wide in the rear for the past few years, I really should get around to fitting the front arches.

sorry didnt realize when i posted ABS MOTORSPORTS in the add that there were various companies with the same name making the same parts....

Thought maybe if someone knew about the company and had there parts maybe they could say if they were nice or there are a nicer option.I did look at the cost of the product and the cost of shipping etc already on their site hence why i said the shipping is more expensive then the arches.

I like ordering stuff through MiniMania because its easy to contact them and they are always very very helpful like today,i get done work and dont have much time before the local hardware store closes and wanted to grab some exhaust hardware and they were very helpful since i placed the order for the parts through them and gave me the thread size to save me time.I wouldve felt like a douche if i ordered them elsewhere lol

but i really like the fiberglass and the way they mount and the host does not sell them..Its looking like $360 shipped which isnt bad considering the prices of some other arches and i do not want the rubber ones.I bought a cheap set from someone to mock up and really just dont like them especially since i have a flip front and it will need to be cut.

I assume you're talking about these = A link would help.

//www.absmotorsport.co.uk/product/mini-sportspack-premium-arch/

=- A simple inquriy to the vendor should give a solid quote for cost + shipping. Shipping things from UK to US is actually quite nice and easy - DHL Flies planes every day - items can arrive NEXT Day in many cases  + the freight for that distance traveled isnt that bad!

Talk to the vendor - Get a quote.  Don't forget the USD to BPS Conversion -- Usually about 1.6  to 1 bs == so  about 170 $$ + fregiht

How good do you want to look?  Dont forget Paint and finishing costs either!

Was on their site looking around and i love the fiberglass sportspack premium arches they offer. They have a nice threaded insert of some sort and attach with little bolts rather then the runner sportspack arches you see mostly and have the studs.Has anyone used anything from them? they seem nice and heard good reviews from a few forum members.

my question is..im not real good with this stuff but its obviously really expensive to ship stuff...the shipping is more expensive then the arches and just making sure there isnt another option or maybe a better option?? maybe someone sells their parts somewhere in the US??
