not sure where you're located but i have a complete drivers seat from a 04 for parts if your near central Oregon. or could part it out and ship if you find out what you need

Unfortunately, we have not heard of a quick fix for the seat height adjustment....

It may be the gas pressure adjuster has failed, or it can be something else....  difficult to say without inspecting the seat....

My 2005 Mini Cooper S Front Seat Lever that lifts you to lower/lift the driver seat is not working.  Silly me, I thought I could buy a new lever and have at it, that was not the case.  I saw a quick fix on the forum for the lever that lets your seat lean back further, does anyone know something I could do to my seat to get it to work without taking the whole seat apart?  I have the repair manual for it but in no area does it speak about fixing the seat.
