not sure where you're located but i have a complete drivers seat from a 04 for parts if your near central Oregon. or could part it out and ship if you find out what you need

I saw a quick fix on the forum for the lever that lets your seat lean back further, does anyone know something I could do to my seat to get it to work without taking the whole seat apart? I have the repair manual for it but in no area does it speak about fixing the seat.

It may be the gas pressure adjuster has failed, or it can be something else.... difficult to say without inspecting the seat....
