You need to indicate what make/model/year of car (assuming it IS a car) you are referring to.
The owner's manual should tell you what the light is for and why it may come on.
Chances are, you need a dealer or good shop to turn it off.

What causes this light to come on and how do I correct it? Oops, I meant EXH light. It is an 87 Austin Rover, japanese version. I do not have an owner's manual for it.
