Glad the article helped !
If even one person get something from it it makes it worthwhile.

I'm running standard drum brake pedals of several vintages on disc braked cars with no ill effects.

Thanks Alex - learned a lot in that article.  IN fact, it appears that I already had the RHD box in my mini when previous owner converted it to LHD for states.  Still trying to understand if my brake pedal/arm is the right contact angle for a disc setup (post '76).  But I think so...really happy I only have to invest in the RHD steering rack and various hardware (excluding wipers, acc pedal, etc).

Of course they're different! Everyone knows that when you shift with your left hand, you work the clutch pedal with your right foot and the gas with your left.

It may be something as simple as the later ones had a hole drilled so they could mount the brake light switch wheras the early ones had the hydraulic switch mounted on the sub frame . The earlier ones also had a different clutch and brake pedal pad, they were more square 4 sided than the later six sided ones as you have.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

AFAIK the pedal boxes are the same the only difference is the accelerator pedal.

So I am converting my Mk4 back to RHD here in Atlanta and just noticed there are two OE part numbers for the standard pedal box.  Anyone know what the difference may be?  I am not even sure of the pedal box pictured was in fact a RHD and put on left side when I bought it years ago.  Maybe someone can let me know the subtle differences here - assume it may be the slight bends or position of the clutch pedal. TIA!
