Guys, I have an unusual question to ask, and maybe one of you knows the answer.

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the headlight bucket on the 2002-2004 Mini-Cooper headlight bucket? I'm preparing to use a set of Mini headlights on an older American-built car I think they might fit on, with modifications to the fender. I might even be able to use the later 2005-2008 if they would fit better. These lights will be used on a late 30's vehicle being done as a rod.

I note in an ad for these that they are shown as 10" x 10" x 10", but I don't know if that is correct. I'll use the Mini headlight rim to finish-off the opening, hopefully.
