My car also goes by the name "Humpty Dumpty" I'm sure you can figure out the "why" for that one. Idk I don't have a lot of sound deadening at the moment and the sound accelerating reminds me of a leaf blower.....but meaner. 
Question: What's it like driving a mini?
My Answer: Like riding around on an angry leaf blower.

I don't know about 'angry', but my Mini's fan does blow leaves around when I rev it. Of course it helps when the fan is on right way around.
