Hey all,
Making good progress (brand new engine is now running smoothly with no leaks!)
Next point of work is actually moving under its own power, which I having troubles with.
Background -
Engine and tranny rebuilt 16 years ago, only now getting up and running
- Pre-Verto, rod change.
- Clutch slave bled, no air coming out
- All wearing surfaces/pins look good
- Throwout stops adjusted according to manual (depress clutch, snug throwout stop nut against "wok" housing, release clutch and tighten throwout nut one more flat)
- Lever stop adjusted per manual (return spring off, pull toward inner fender, adjust stop to 0.20mm gap, re-install spring
Again, all parts are new/good shape. Lever is moving fine, so does that rule out hydraulic issues (master or slave cylinder)?
No obvious leaks, lever seems to be moving fine when clutch is depressed, shifts smoothly when engine is off, cannot get into any gear with engine on and clutch fully depressed.
Thoughts?
Thanks! Sctt
