Can anyone recommend a full-service shipper for this? A friend recommended US Canada Auto Transport, but I've spoken to them, and I'm not overly confident in them, and their online reviews are horrendous.
Other options?

Don't worry guys, it's not a Mini.
Car is LHD, and a former US car. It has only been in BC for a couple of years, and seller still has docs to prove this. I understand that may help on taxes, is that correct?

The simplest way would be for you to go to BC and bring the car back as the new owner, no customs broker required if you do it this way
Duty - 3% on the first thousand, 21/2 % on the balance
Have a Bill of Sale, a copy of the Canadian title and some confirmation of the actual sale price, eg: copy of e-bay listing or Mini Mania listing and a copy of your cheque or Bank Draft
And always check out the vin plate # with the title, you don't need any surprises at uS Customs

Hi Guys,
Long time to speak. I know there are is a strong Canadian presence on this board, so I thought this would be a good place to ask this.
I'm trying to buy a vintage car that was taken from the US to BC a few years ago. The car was sold new in California, so there are no concerns with regulatory/emissions compliance, etc.
My question is on the process required to get the car back into the US, and any Customs fees that would need to be dealt with. Anyone done this before, and can point me in the right direction?
Thanks
