You can pop the barrel out of the lock and it will have a number on it. Most of the ones I have for minis are FSxxx numbers

There is a guy on ebay uk selling keys, I ordered a bunch from him, and now have replacement keys from a number of my orphan locks and ignitions switches.

I also have a ring with 10 or so orphan FS keys, so I may have a key you are after

Yes and Yes assuming that they all use the same key blank. The modern after market lock sets don't use the same key blanks as the original lock sets................

Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch

All,

I'm planning on putting a locking handle on the passenger side of my '66, making my boot, and both doors all different key barrels.

1)  Can you get them rekeyed to be the same?
2)  Can a locksmith make a key for a barrel for which you don't have the original?

I know our host sells new barrels, just being thrifty!
