I use the group 24 in mine as well very common and fits fine, the one I have is  850 cca.

steve.. 26r.are the ones from WALLY WOLRD with 550 CAamps. but you can use the interstate one  24r.. that has 1000 Cranking amps.. later bc

I'm not at the shop and need to know code for battery for neg. earth classic. I seem to recall 29 something. I like to use the largest highest CCA one that will fit the battery box liner. Steve (CTR)
