US
My Mini had the dried soft plastic wheel covering, which I soaked with Armour All for days and days until it was restored. For my Corvair, I bought a piece of leather and sewed it on, with a cork/rubber gasket material filler, then took it to a leather tanner to dye it to my paint color.

For my BMW, I took the wheel to a local upholstery shop and he pulled all the old leather and sewed in new to match the original.

They sell kits on ebay to wrap wheels not sure if they are leather or pleather though.

I have a Paddy Hopkirk wheel with what appears to be a leather wrap. I'd like to have the wheel refurbed to either a leather or preferably a wooden wheel. Does anyone have a source for this?
