malsal..  yea  1200 lbs is about right.. btw.  on LSV here , you must be able to reach 35 MPH. so these mokes would NOT be legal here .

Maybe they meant to say 541 kg which is around 1200 lbs so a lot closer.
Biggest issue i see is that they are only capable of 25 mph in their present state, that's not even 50cc scooter speeds .

dr mini.. LSV.. low speed vehicles do have 17 digit vin numbers. as do LSV golf carts here in NC..  and you do get proper NC tag..  but you can NOT drive on state highways where speed limit is more than 45 MPH..  check out www.golfcartoutlet.com here on the coast of NC.. they will even change a NON legal golf cart to LSV and can LEGALLY ad an 17 digit vin number and get you an NC tag and title.. later bc

Would be pretty certain there are no tiltles and no VIN = and to be used on private property or "golf cart Community"
That's what I thought, but the ad says they are street legal.  That's why I wondered how they could title and tag them for the street?

well.  called the phone number.. spoke to . kyle  at  #949..   these are from Big Science and Tech in Chongqing, China.. I looked at these BUT way too many hoops to make the EPA folks happy.. I know they have to have DOT marked . windscreen,  headlights.. tyres, rims.. brake hoses brake  MC , seat belts.. as ALL LSV must have to import..  just like any CKDS imported as motor vehicle parts without engines or trannys...my guess state vin number.. or they got WNI.. from golf cart.. ( someone is doing this already in morehead city NC..   will have to look up the golf cart company..  later  bc ps the importer is ACG golf carts..  they SAY they have  a PATENT and WNI.. world number ID.. www.acgcars.us

Look like the last of the 3rd generation Chokes they were selling off. Iam sure BC knows and will chime in.

Just stumbled across this on Craigslist.  Looks like someone has built, or is building a fleet of electric Mokes for sale in California.  Hmmm, Wonder how they are titled?  The ad says they are new, 2016 Mokes.  Can someone sell brand new Mokes there if they are electric instead of gas powered?  Price seems cheap enough you could buy one and do an engine swap and still come out ahead.  Are they Choke bodies?  Just curious.
