Jim, I know that road well. It's a beautiful place to drive, walk, run, bike. I suspect the golf club doesn't like locals cutting through skirting traffic. I suppose they have no sense of irony considering how they got the land for the golf club to begin with; wish they'd just leave it open for local traffic, as no SH city visitors know that route.
  Glad to discover yet another Long Island Mini fan. Don't actually own one yet, but soon enough.......

Best of luck although there are probably more golfers than there are great drives enthusiasts.  By the way my late father always honked going past the local frustration club.  They would shake their clubs at him.

Hi, I'm asking for a favor. I've started an on line petition.  My town officials are being pressured to close a public road that runs through a golf course. This road happens to be the prettiest road in the township with unbelievable vistas. I am against any such takeover. My goal is 11K signatures.
