Sure if you need a jet and can pay the fuel bill, can get one on the way. Went though West (By God) Virginia on the way to Mid Ohio. Wish I had been on 165s rather than the 145s. Drifting down hill for miles as fast as you dare. Steve (CTR)

Welcome to the forum. I sold my 1965 Porsche 356 about 15 yrs ago........biggest regret ever! I still dream of that car, and when I priced a replacement lately I realized that I'll just have to stay with my dreams!

Tell us about your car and pics would be great.

Yes my geography might be a bit lacking for the Virginias! I thought Steve might know the area better! Plus, he might have a jet!!

While Coopertune (aka Steve) is certainly a good person to inspect Minis he is a bit far away.  Steve is in the Virginia Beach area.  That's about about as far away from West Virginia as you can be in Virginia.

A "list" would certainly be a valuable resource, but there ARE knowledgeable guys who would probably do this for a fee.... Look up board member "Coopertune", a long time expert who has a shop in that part of the country. He may point you to someone if he's too far away!

Greetings--I'm new here, and shopping for a classic.  I'm not new to MINIs (I'm on my second right now) or classics in general (also have a Porsche 356), but I AM pretty new to classic Minis.  I'd prefer to buy a car someone has driven or at least laid eyes on, if I can't do it myself.  Is there a list of people in different states who can do this?  I've located a candidate in West Virginia, for example, and not having a jet at my disposal I'm going to have to see if someone can check it out for me.  Anyone live in that state?  Or any shops you can recommend?  (Not expecting this to be free.)
