I would say that I am a pretty big fan of the trio.  You have to admit the 23rd season of Top Gear was even more of an "India Special," than the trio could have ever done.  Fortunately, I have a daytime life at which I can read listen to and watch a lot of stuff involving them.  In all of the interviews they never once said or portrayed that The Grand Tour was going to be a big departure from the trio's long stint at Top Gear.  I think I did say in a previous post that all the lawyer talk seems to be coming from Amazon.  The BBC would love to make money from some sort of copyright or other infringement.
So take it what it is a car show some of the time with a lot of antics that will be repeated for years to come.
1.) Beautifully captured episode that gave most fans what they should expect.  A lot of antics that should also be expected.
2.) Hum drum antics that annoyed more than stayed with you.  (Easily forgettable!  Then again JC has repeatedly said he doesn't care whether the fans like it or not.)
3.) Again beautiful camera work and antics that didn't bother me as much as episode 2.
To sum up exactly what I expected with great visual appeal compared to the appalling job season 23 of Top Gear did.

Not overly impressed.

I didn't think it could get any worse than the India Special, and then they ran round pretending to be soldiers - painful.

The Italian jaunt was embarassing, and I suspect there was some Amazon interference to get the Challenger included as it is totally out of step with the other cars used.
The 'new Stig' is crap, and the track is not at all special.

Quite like the disposal of the celebrities, but that will probably get old quite quickly.

Not different enough to be special.

The boys are back as the first episode was a blast. It was spot on !

The second was not as good as it veered to far from car whacks.
I will watch the third tonight. Thank  you Amazon !

So the 3rd episode has dropped.  A lot better than 2.

The first 2 episodes have dropped.  The facts are The Grand Tour has premiered as highest rated series introduction from a streaming service.  The first episode was stupendous and showed the trio needed the change.  The second episode was ok and was more like Top Gear than I thought it could be.  Still a lot better than that abomination Chris Evans did.  (The BBC radio nut, not the Captain America actor.)  I hope they can salvage something with Matt LeBlanc so we can have 2 shows that sometimes talks about cars.

So no one else is at least curious to speculate on the soon to be show.

In my opinion,Chris Evans is the worst thing I've ever seen on TV. Loud, whiny.
obnoxious, and any other degrading adjective you can think of.
Totally ruined the show, made it worse than the American Top Gear show,
which I thought would be impossible to do.

Matt, could you email me, I've got a question? Address in profile.

For those of you who don't know Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will air a new show on Amazon Prime called "The Grand Tour."  (TGt is a brilliant name.)
I personally no longer watch air or cable television at home.  I have to go to mom's house to do that, mind you I recorded about half the olympics at her house to watch later.  Love em or hate em it will be a wonderful escape for me.
The three of them described their relationship on a 60 minutes interview I think.  They almost loathe one another and do not spend much time outside of work together but treat each other like sudo brothers.  Did anyone see the reboot of Top Gear with Chris Evans?  (CE of BBC Radio not of Captain America)  What did you think of that?  Should we pester the trio's producer and ask them to do something with minis?  And by the way if you see some news outlet saying the BBC is making the new show jump through hoops.  As I understand it Amazon Lawyers are playing CYA for the future.
