Not enough information. Year of car, MK 1 Cooper s (I think 175) or Mk 1 Cooper (I think 90). I would have to look up those torques but...

The nut that holds the hub on (castle nut with cotter pin) how tight should this be tightened?
I am hearing that too tight will burn up the new bearings I just put in
