In the future I want another bonnet just to have some wall art for the Moke garage at Mom's house.  The plan is to make wooden hat hooks to put up his collection in there too.

Maybe Windsor Coffin (sp?) bought it.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Buyer commented in the auction that it will be headed to the Florida Keys... those Signatures might melt away in the Humidity!

   Good golf cart replacement!

Good show MinitotheMax. You made me pay more than I wanted, but it will have a good home in the Florida Keys. A good golf cart costs this much or more…. I’m happy.

So just maybe, the 68 Moke goes from $19k to a final alleged selling price of $35k because of some high value autographs: So we now have a $15k Moke bonnet, and then some low-life simply undoes the two bungee tie downs. And walks away with the bonnet, so is the Moke now worth only $19k or is the bonnet still worth $15k ?

A conundrum to be sure

I certainly hope that has something to do with it.  "Barb" has one signature on it, that is the same as the seller.  Brian Redman.  There is the absolute proof and another pic of Zip.

Does anyone think that the signatures under the Bonnet had anything to do with the sell price?

Cool

That parcel shelf was hand built from scratch influenced from an Austin Healey. I could fabricate more if it would enhance the value of ones Moke

Seriously, I did not expect this outcome but of course am very happy

my son has a 67 Catalina Moke which we are starting to restore. May put in a 1275 in it

Keep Moking

Sorry for your loss Rick, just keep looking, l sold my white Moke in Texas and never did get to advertise it-

It must have been that funky after market parcel shelf that added the extra $15k

Just looked at it this morning with 6 hours left at $19250 and figured it would break $20k easily but never expected it to do $35k. Congrats to the seller now lets go find some Mokes LOL.

Well, I was outbid by $10k.  I was confident that I was going to win.      //bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-austin-mini-moke/
