Thanks Chuck. I do realize there are two types of slave cylinders. What I was wondering is if I can use the non-verto cylinder with the brackets and arm of the verto setup.

Not the end of the world to try out the Pre verto on the Verto Setup... other internet posts say OK or NO way!>..

I swear I have a Verto SLave on my Pre verto Clutch Assembly.  (opposite of your setup) ( came that way) for 15 years now.

I'm totally speculating that the Verto Cyl + uses the Banjo fitting on the hose to give it that downward facing angle much easier than a possibly goofy bend of how the Pre verto Hoses connect directly.

Thanks Chuck. I realize there are two different slave cylinders but I am asking if the pre verto one will work bolted to the verto cover and mount.

I am changing an engine to a later model that has a verto clutch. Do I need to change the slave cylinder for the clutch to one specific for the verto clutch? I have all the clutch arms and mounting plates for the verto clutch. But do I need a specific slave cylinder?
