Thanks Doug.  I'll order some of them.

Regards,

Craig

Hi Craig.  Yes, the metal caps will fit the bean can reservoirs.  I have them on my car.  Period incorrect by a year but I like their look better than the discolored plastic parts.

I've gone through 4 of the new plastic master cylinder filler caps, as they crack quickly either from heat or the tension of being tightened down.  My old brown discolored original plastic cap that came with the car is still fine.

I'm tired of finding a mess of spilled brake fluid on top of the bean cans, and wondered if anyone has found an alternative to these poorly manufactured reproductions?   Weren't the metal ones used from '59 - '63 being reproduced a few years ago, and will those fit the bean can master cylinders?

Edit:  I see that the metal ones are available, so my question is:  will these thread onto the bean can brake/ clutch master cylinders?

Thanks!
