I decided to go with the huddersfield spares standard (black) coil with adjustable HI/LOs. This kit was the most cost effective. It came with a spring compressor and knuckles as well. I recieved it this morning but have not had a chance to install it. I will be sure to post a review when i put a few hundred miles on them.

Jsilva, what did you decide to do?

I got my coilovers installed and haven't done a lot of miles yet but so far I'm pretty happy with them....one good thing is that they're easy to adjust if you want to make changes.

Other then a stray word or two, Delta's website is entirely in Kanji on my phone and laptop. What is this enchanted phone you speak of?

I went with the black coil springs (supposedly right in between the blue and red in stiffness) from Huddersfield and I thought they rode and drove much better - but my cones were absolutey hard as rocks and well flattened out....so no real comparison there.

I did about 10K on them before I sold the car and I was really happy with them.

On my current car I'm trying something you all haven't mentioned - coilovers with adjustable shocks. Since the springs are considerably longer I'm hoping for a significant improvement in ride quality.

For me the worst road conditions are bridges - the approach and departures are so extreme anymore it kills my back!

Hey Jsilva, were you able to find Japanese / English conversion button on Delta's website?

the photo from rosebud is the 3 coil.  for coil springs to work , you need at least 2 coil in the middle to do the spring action.

Just a note of clearifacition; the color code standard for springs sourced domestically (blue, red, green) is not universal. My blue springs manufactured by Delta (Japan) are rated as "firm." MM's blue springs are rated "soft." I'm not sure if my Deltas had an extra coil as I bought them off eBay. They were unused but w/o packaging. Come to think of it, I did have to have the trumpet seats machined down to achieve the correct ride height range, so perhaps they did have an extra coil.

6464, do you have any contact information on minitastic. I can't seem to find any email, website, or phone number.

I bought springs from minitastic which are from England and Delta mini which are from Japan. It is what minitastic calls their town springs and  delta mini calls their long stroke. both have an extra coil, 4 instead of the usual 3. the ride is soft, not as soft as a hydro.  IMHO much better than cones or the other 3 coil springs because it takes out all the choppyness. Here the roads are terrible and I use the mini as a daily driver. very happy with them both.

I put the hi-lo's and blue springs in. I like the ride, but I had never driven the original setup. A friend did the same and says it feels much better than his cones.
