Must be getting warmer - more cars are showing up for sale. This one for the right reasons. My buddy has kids the same age n gender's as mini. Except his 16yr old girl is a serious motorhead & is working on her older brother's Mustang & her Europa in between school n babysitting. If she keeps it up, we're going to have to buy her a tool box to fit her own tools she's been accumulating! Wish my kids were more interested, enjoy the kids while they are there, sorry that you have to sell the car. Good luck.

Still two months away but if it hasn't sold by the end of June, maybe trailer it down to Columbus OH to MM East, you will get great exposure and probably a sale

I have always sold a mini at these events,

Good luck

Good luck with the sale and the road ahead Alistair.  I still recall in 2005 strongly considering buying that yellow Mini from you and Pete, but eventually bought a red one from David @ BarnhillMinis.

Ironic that now I own a modern BINI that's yellow !

Mine has sat for over a year now and not moved a wheel.  Car is fine; interest is down. Keep thinking about selling it.  I guess if I needed the money, I would, so totally understand.

For $7k, if you have a little skill, it seems like an alright deal for someone.

I wish you the best !

It must have been hard to type that... hard enough to read. Best wishes and thanks for your contribution to the community.

Good on you for prioritizing, Alistair. Sometimes life requires it and kudos to you for making the decisions that are best for you and your boys. Amazing how time flys. I remember well all your Mini activities  back when your boys were tykes and also catching up with you at PVGP. Still have a Westpaminis t-shirt somewhere in my collection! Be well and good luck with the sale.

After lots (and LOTS) of heartfelt internal struggles, I've come to the point where it's time to let my car go. I still have to figure out how to post pics though. After being on this forum for 17 years, you'd think I'd have learned by now LOL

1972 Custom cabrio. Built with a brand new shell in 92ish.  It's been mine for about a decade. The paint is incredible. There's no roof (well..there is, but it's junk and hasn't been on the car since I've owned it). It needs exhaust work. It currently cranks, but won't start. I'm guessing distributor/points...etc?  Chrome 12" minilites with brand new tires. 1275 A+

I've recently become a single dad raising 2 teenage boys, and the tranny blew on my son's car. I have a garage full of random mini parts that go with the car. Open to interesting trades as well (reliable, fun, manual transmission, for my kids).

[email protected] if you'd like to see pics or get more details.

This was honestly hard for me to type.
