There seems to be a lot of interest in 1071 Cooper S cars these days. I have heard some crazy prices for them recently. What do you expect to pay for a real 1071 S as a project? Does LHD/RHD make any difference? There was one in Fla. that went to Europe and is a super resto now. As I recall it was in very bad shape when loaded in a container and sent off. It would be interesting to know what that project sold for. Steve (CTR)

Give a shout out to mkileg i think he has some genuine 1071 parts for sale. His parts were in an "assumed free" storage somewhere in VA, USA.

That you Clubman/John. Been a while welcome back if it is you.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Are you looking in the US specifically or are you willing to import if the price is right? Saw a 63 in South Africa a couple weeks ago for cheap... I'll try and find the link.

Yep, I'm in the hunt for a 1071s.

I would prefer any leads be sent to my em or pm.  That would be greatly appreciated.

minibitz at optonline.net.  use the @ symbol with no spaces. Trying to avoid the spambots.

thanks.
