I'd like to give a big shout out and thank you to Dion and Melanie Jardine for organizing and hosting yet another fun, low-key and casual  Mini event, and to all the volunteers who helped make it happen. The activities, location, weather, cars and people all made this fourth one as enjoyable as the previous three. Bring on the next one !

Still not skinny and EX long hair Al.
I remember us going to the airport and the customs officer asking "do you have any classic Mini's with you today Mr Guest" to which you replied sarcastically "does it look like i have any classic Mini's with me" (no trailer behind your truck) which then went to "park it over there" and we ended up with a full search of the truck and my luggage and a 1.5 hour delay with me almost missing the plane.
Not to mention the time with 3 of us in car at customs with three different passports consisting of a French Canadian passport, a US passport and a UK passport, a long delay lots of questions that was brutal i thought i was not getting into Canada that time.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

I can attest to that only too well having been "delayed" with Big Al at the border and the officials not liking his sense of humour.

That's assuming that you're allowed into the country to begin with, seeing as you looking like an arabic terrorist.

Can you prove to the border guards you're not an Islamic Jihadist ?

The rally will be a low-key and enjoyable drive through the countryside, following pre-printed instructions and clues.

The car show late that afternoon/evening is an American muscle car show.

The Sunday car show is where Minis are placed in categories and judged for awards, with some other miscellaneous activities thrown in.

This would be my first FunShine MiniFest event. Could you provide some info/details about the Saturday rally & car show?
