Many years ago, with a mini that only cost me a couple of bucks. I drove around with a smaller tree on top for the whole Christmas season. More smiles per mile! Merry Christmas everyone.

The Christmas card I made a few years ago when we brought the tree home on the roof of the Hornet....

Merry Christmas Mike!

When the Austin Countryman is done, my plan is to break it in with a transcontinental run to the US northeast & Atlantic Canada.

Off to Australia in 2017...so 2018 likely.  (I'll be like Ken Lively...old but lively!)  Then MMEMW in Colorado in 2019.  You had better be there!

(Not much has happened since 1st of June, but should progress to paint in January after which I'll get it home for hydraulics & mechanical)

Jsilva has it right.  "HAPPY" is parked in the garage. Same car as my avatar.

No idea where Barney the floorless wonder Mini is Dan.  Went to some guy who lived somewhere near Sydney?, NS (Cape Breton for sure-Sydney-not 100% sure)

Seems to me, he was a mechanic or something in the Alberta Oil fields and when he was home on certain stints, he wanted something to do.

Not too many on here from NS, let alone Cape Breton.  I've been through CB 4 times in the last 3 yrs, but have never seen it.

There used to be a Dentist on here with an orange 78? Mini and he lived in Port Hawkesbury,CB - but I haven't seen a post from him in quite some time.  We may never know its fate.  Shame.

It was  a rust bucket, but would've been a screamer back in the day with many Cooper mods.

Mike:  any idea what ever happened to Barney... last we heard you sold him to some guy in Nova Scotia or Cape Breton who was going to rebuild him.

.

"Hang on a minute lads....I've got a great idea."

We got 40cm Don and the next day another 12-15cm.  I cleaned up best as I could both days (was heavy/wet/slushy) and on the 3rd day scraped it down again to the gravel and we got 5*C & sun, so the snow on this end of the driveway is not too much.  On the road end (220' away), it's probably still nearly 2' of snowbank (was 3->3.5' high before our little micro heat wave, LOL)

Welcome to NB - here's your snow shovel !

MOKE season is an entire week !

Many years ago I posted a similar photo of me beside my 1978 Mini (also yellow)
Here's one I snapped a couple hours ago of my 2009 BINI. (I'll look for the old one and see if I still have it)
