Agreed on thought he got a bargain at 5K. MK II S with rust although as you say only one owner will need work to get it fixed up - how many are left these days?

As the show is scripted, he could have read up on the history of the mini, after all how many minis ended up in Iowa ?

That was a new episode and yes Mike did get the '68 'S' for $5000. It had some major rust issues, but the engine had been rebuilt and I think it was a bargain for a one owner highly sought after car. Mike isn't that correct on Mini features though. Wonder if he is just going to resell it? Randy

saw an episode yesterday, maybe a rerun? but i dont watch that my tv. had to leave before it ended, did they buy the car the fellow wanted 5k for? i thought the jag with the vette engine was a better buy.
