That's what the add said when he had it for sale Bill. He also sold an Estate with a Honda engine and an auto trans in it which also went out West.

Yes, Jason's '63 full-custom VTEC Mini is incredible build!

There's a full feature with more info on the "News/Features" page of my website:
//www.miniguy.com/news-features-miniguys-views/

(see April 17,2007 on Page 3)

"Jason’s Mini – Definitely Not Just Another Mini…"
Also, there are more photos on the "Not For Sale" page:

(see: "Jason’s Mini: NOT For Sale, but maybe yes? (Jacksonville, Florida)"
.
p.s. - If you'd like your Mini(s) added to the "Not For Sale" page, feel free to send photos and info.

That was Jason Neumans Mini, he sold it and it went to the West coast somewhere.

This Mini was on my MiniGuy website on the "Consignment - For Sale by Owner" page for awhile. After that, because his asking price was so high, I had moved it to the "Not For Sale" page instead:

Here's a direct link to ID# SPRINTMINI2:

//www.miniguy.com/vehicles/sprintmini2/

It was built by Kenny B.

Here's a snippet from the writeup:

This ’69 Austin Mk2 Mini has been chopped and channeled – much like an old school hot rod – by a master craftsman/fabricator with 40 years’ experience in restoration and custom builds of exotic and race cars. Built as a labor of love over a 10-year period, it’s only reluctantly offered for sale – providing it go to a good home where it will be truly appreciated, of course!

Featured in November 2006 Mini Magazine.

At first glance, it’s reminiscent of the “Mini Sprints” built in the ’60’s, but this one’s a full-custom, one-off build. There’s 2″ chopped from the bottom of the body and doors, and a 3″ chop of the roof. All steel; no fiberglass, no plastic.

> SNIP <

(See the rest of the writeup there...)

.
I seem to recall it had recently sold at one of the big auctions. I forget which one.

Without seeing the front i am not sure the body has been sectioned on this one maybe only the roof pillars although the wheel flares look to be mounted higher. Door hinges look closer than normal.

Don't know how they did this one, Sprints were reworked enough that the side pinch seams would not line up anymore & eliminated/deseamed. It's custom alright, kinda Sprintish but not traditional enough for me.

It looks like a cut down "sprint" or may be that's just the photo.
