Interesting nobody mentioned the mini reference in the title. Noel Coward played Mr. Bridger in the original " Italian Job".

Well i was 13 when saw this movie, and my first time to see a classic mini and fall in love with it right away, love @ first sight they say... And i told myself one day i will own this car, i want to be a dork someday,, now several years later i finally own one, and now im a full pledge certified dork, and im proud of it.  Although i dunno what a dork means,,, wait i will google it.

I remember watching this years ago. Cool to see the icon on TV.

A subsequent google search brought this up.  People commenting on the car. (including an apparent "aha!" or conundrum.)
You be the judge.

I am VERY late to the party !

Recently I've been watching reruns of TV shows and tonight I'm watching a 1998 episode of "The King of Queens" with Kevin James.  Episode # is #15. Name of episode is called "Noel Cowards".

Suddenly there is a Mini in the show.  Part of the show revolves around it.  They even drive it. Mock it, etc.  I am about 1/2way through the show as I type...

It's a mid 1970's RHD something. Could be a blanked out BMC badge on the bonnet.  Baby poo brown vinyl interior. Baby moon hubcaps.  They call it a Dushemburger from Luxembourg, but it's clearly a Mini.

A lot of laughs.

Mike
